FRIENDS OF THE TIPTON COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER
In January of 2019, we identified a need for dog walkers at our local Tipton County Animal Shelter. While walking dogs, we were made aware that there were few funds to help with the medical care of the dogs and cats in the shelter. We decided to become a 501 (c) 3 so that we could change that.

SHELTER VOLUNTEER
The shelter is need of volunteers for a variety of daily tasks. A few things being washing dishes, doing laundry, moving donations, etc. ​Dog walkers must be 18+ and sign a liability waiver. ​​

For shelter volunteering, please call the shelter at 901-837-5919. No age limit, but an adult must be present with minors. They can also provide service hour sign offs.

We also need help with off site fundraising events! If you're interested, please fill out the Volunteer Application.
TRANSPORT
We work with several rescue partners locally and in other states. We are always needing volunteers to transport anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours away. Transport destinations include airports, vet clinics, and meeting other transporters.

FOSTERING
We are always in need of medical and short term fosters. If you are willing to let a furry friend crash at your house, click here to fill out an application. FOTCAS provides all supplies needed. ​
